If I Had $100


For this assignment,we had to look at some ethical gifts from Oxfam,The Salvation Army,Plan Canada and World Vision.On the website for Oxfam,they have 39 gift options.The cheapest gift is seeds (3 bags) $12.00 and the most expensive gift is disaster preparedness $1300.00.I chose 2 gifts from Oxfam.They are girls in school for $50.00,to give girls an education, and safe water for $22.00,to give people healthy water to drink.On the website for the The salvation Army,they have 10 gift options.The cheapest gift is miscellaneous for $10.00 and the most expensive gift is adult literacy for $200.00.On the website for Plan Canada,they have 42 gifts.The cheapest gift is wrap a  newborn baby for $10.00 and the most expensive gift is complete community water solution for $25,00.00.I got two thing but bought two of one item twice.I got wrap a newborn baby twice for a total of $20.00 and a mango tree For $12.00,to give people something to eat.On the website for World Vision,they have 99 gifts.The cheapest gift is 2 mosquito nets for $30.00 and the most expensive gift is nutrition and health in Ghana-for 2500 children-for $16,25.00.Now at my school,we are having a fundraiser to see if we can make it happen.To see if we can make some live better in any way we can.You can take a look at the websites above and please,donate to one of these plans and make a difference.
